Mrs. Ann Coffey was one of the founding parents of Regina Angelorum Academy and has formally assisted the Academy with curriculum development and teacher support since 2014. A graduate of Marywood College, Mrs. Coffey previously served clinical, faculty, and administrative appointments in Health & Nutrition at both Catholic and secular institutions, including the University of Pennsylvania, Drexel University, Immaculata College, the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, and the Graduate Hospital of Philadelphia. Mrs. Coffey also home-schooled her children for eleven years before the opening of our Academy.
In addition to serving as Director of Academics, Mrs. Coffey teaches the Pre-Kindergarten students and has been certified as a Catechesis of the Good Shepherd instructor since 2002. She has directed the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd Atrium at St. Colman’s Parish and then at Regina Angelorum Academy for a combined total of thirteen years. Mrs. Coffey is pursuing certification as a Montessori educator.
